Ask a Question

An illiterate diet, as well as some pathologies, provoke deposits on the vascular walls. In this case, the lumen narrows and the blood flow cannot cope with the task of delivering nutrients and oxygen to the tissues of the brain and heart, and a stroke or heart attack develops. This can be avoided if you periodically cleanse your blood vessels of cholesterol using folk remedies.

Why is cleansing necessary?

Home procedures restore elasticity and firmness to arteries, veins and capillaries, remove harmful substances, which has a positive effect on the human condition:

  • mood improves;
  • performance increases;
  • attacks of cephalalgia disappear;
  • blood pressure is normalized.

Preventive cleaning of blood vessels with folk remedies once a year promotes longevity, as it prevents the development of diseases characteristic of the cardiovascular system.

If high lipid levels are detected in the blood, doctors usually prescribe a course of pharmacological therapy. But medications often cause side effects that are significantly harmful to health. In contrast, home methods have a minimum of contraindications.

It is advisable to increase the efficiency of releasing cholesterol from blood vessels by first cleansing the body of accumulated waste and toxins. Otherwise, the procedure will not be effective, since harmful substances will continue to penetrate from the digestive tract.

Garlic tincture

Garlic has been used since ancient times to lower cholesterol. By consuming this root vegetable or products based on it daily, you can reduce lipoprotein levels by about 10%. And it also stabilizes blood pressure, strengthens the immune system, has a weak antibacterial effect, and prevents the formation of blood clots.

Thanks to the glycine content in garlic, cholesterol accumulations gradually dissolve. But when treating with garlic, you must keep in mind that it is contraindicated in the following cases:

  • pregnancy and breastfeeding;
  • allergic manifestations;
  • diseases of the digestive system;
  • epilepsy;
  • pathologies of the urinary system.

Garlic is considered a very effective remedy for preventing the development of atherosclerosis. This disease is fraught with complications such as stroke, coronary heart disease or heart attack. Therefore, garlic will serve not only to reduce cholesterol levels, but also to prevent atherosclerosis.

Garlic-based traditional medicine should be taken before meals 30 minutes before meals. The frequency of administration is 2–3 times a day. Garlic tincture in alcohol or water is diluted in milk before use. This will prevent the irritating effect of alcohol and essential oils of the root vegetable on the gastric mucosa.

One of the classic garlic-based recipes for cholesterol is garlic tincture. To prepare it you will need 40 g of garlic and 100 ml of alcohol or vodka. The garlic is passed through a press and filled with alcohol, and the container is tightly closed. The tincture is left for 2 weeks. If medical alcohol was used for preparation, then the infusion time is 1 week. After the tincture is ready, it is taken 3 times a day, 30 drops for 1 month.

Another effective recipe for lowering cholesterol with garlic is Tibetan tincture. Taking this remedy can significantly slow down the development of atherosclerosis and free the lumen of blood vessels from cholesterol plaques. This, in turn, will improve metabolism and heart function.

What foods lower cholesterol?

It is prepared as follows:

  • Peel and finely chop 150 g of garlic. It is advisable to grind it in a wooden or porcelain mortar without using iron tools (grater, meat grinder, press).
  • Pour the chopped garlic with alcohol in the same amount - 150 g.
  • Transfer to a container and place in a cool, dark place. It is not advisable to put it in the refrigerator.
  • Leave for 10 days.
  • Strain through cheesecloth.
  • Leave for another 3 days.

It is important to follow the rules of administration to obtain the effect of Tibetan garlic tincture. Take it diluted in 50 ml of milk. The product is drunk 3 times a day. Start with one drop. With each dose, increase the dose by one drop until the dosage increases to 15 drops. Immediately after this, the number of drops is reduced by one each time. Until you get back to one drop. Then take the tincture 3 times a day, 25 drops, until it runs out.

This course of vessel cleansing is recommended to be carried out no more than once every 2-3 years.

What causes high blood cholesterol

The main reasons for the accumulation of lipids in blood vessels:

  1. Endocrinological problems, hormonal imbalances.
  2. Metabolic disorder.
  3. The constant presence of fatty components in the menu, as well as products with a low content of mineral and vitamin complexes.
  4. Smoking, alcohol abuse.
  5. Frequent exposure to stress, depression.
  6. Infectious processes in the liver and kidneys.
  7. Lack of physical activity.
  8. Genetic predisposition to cholesterol accumulation.
  9. Elderly age.

If at least one of the listed factors is present, it is necessary to resort to folk remedies to clean blood vessels and free them from plaques.

Herbal medicine for high cholesterol

Herbal treatment can prevent the pathological process of increasing cholesterol levels and the formation of atherosclerotic plaques on the inner wall of blood vessels. This is facilitated by the active substances contained in medicinal plants:

  • lecithin;
  • vegetable fiber;
  • phytosterols;
  • flavonoids;
  • natural statins.

These substances break down low-density cholesterol and prevent its deposition on the walls of blood vessels, suppress the production of cholesterol in the liver and prevent the absorption of bile acids. And they also block cholesterol receptors and smooth out the walls of blood vessels.

The advantage of herbal medicine is its high digestibility and bioavailability, natural composition and good tolerability, a small list of contraindications, and the absence of a negative effect on the natural processes of the body.

At the same time, it is necessary to keep in mind the following features of reducing cholesterol levels with the help of medicinal herbs:

  • The effect does not come quickly, not earlier than after a month of regular use;
  • Each time it is necessary to prepare a fresh portion of the product;
  • Complexity of dosage in finished form. This applies primarily to poisonous plants;
  • The same type of plant grown in different conditions can have different biological composition.
  • Improper preparation or non-compliance with storage conditions of medicinal raw materials can significantly reduce its healing qualities.

Properly selected herbal medicine will reduce the concentration of cholesterol in the blood

There are also restrictions on the use of phytotherapeutic drugs. The following conditions cannot be treated for cholesterol with medicinal herbs: pregnancy and lactation, the presence of cancer, purulent inflammation, increased individual sensitivity, exacerbation of chronic diseases, the period of infectious diseases.

These are general contraindications to herbal medicine, but each medicinal plant also has certain restrictions on use.

Diagnosis of the disease

The indication for preventive screening for cholesterol is often reaching 40 years of age. To make sure there is no risk of plaque formation, you need to check your blood. It is enough to donate liquid from your finger for a general analysis.

In the results you can notice the separation of cholesterol:

  1. Good – HDL. Normal levels are above 1 mmol/liter.
  2. Harmful - LDL. The concentration is not more than 5.2 mmol/liter.

KA is also determined - the ratio of dangerous and necessary cholesterol for humans.

  1. When there are no problems, KA is less than 3.
  2. In the presence of diseases, for example, atherosclerosis, a value of 5.

If significant presence of LDL is detected, the patient is examined.

Diagnostics helps determine methods for getting rid of cholesterol; doctors themselves often recommend using courses of folk remedies.

Symptoms of clogged blood vessels

Atherosclerotic changes in blood vessels are among the most rapidly progressing and dangerous. The symptoms that appear should not be ignored; you should immediately visit a doctor.

It is better to start treating any disease at the initial stage; only in this case will it be possible to avoid global health problems, use herbs in therapy rather than drugs, and save money.

Symptoms of “dirty” vessels:

  • memory impairment;
  • constant fatigue, which manifests itself already in the first half of the day, subject to normal night rest;
  • decreased performance;
  • frequent dizziness accompanied by disorientation;
  • head fights;
  • frequent nausea;
  • hair loss;
  • increased blood pressure;
  • decreased function of vision, hearing, and smell;
  • the appearance of seizures;
  • frequent viral diseases;
  • weight fluctuations for no apparent reason.

Taking care of the health of blood vessels is everyone’s task, but for people who have bad habits, examination of the condition of blood vessels should be carried out at certain intervals. It is better to undergo an examination once a year, not limiting yourself to studying only one organ. Particular attention is paid to the vessels of the brain.

Proper nutrition
